Problem:
In the United States, the Van de Camp Sea Food Company, packers of Chicken of the Sea and White Star brand tuna, sardines and mackerel, needed to remove all steel contaminants before packaging their products.
Solution:
Eriez Plate Magnets were installed above the conveyors carrying the cleaned, fresh fish to the automatic packing machines. Stray ferrous particles were readily removed from the product flow.
